Traditional Kuy tradition is analogous to other Mon-Khmer minority teams of Southeast Asia. Traditionally, they have been subsistence farmers and supplemented this by weaving, boosting livestock and fishing. Throughout periods of drought or in the event the soil lost its fertility, entire villages relocated to far more favorable land. Veneration of
